🌟 Celebrating the Women of Arrowsmith Search & Rescue – International Women’s Day 🌟
Today, on International Women’s Day, we recognize and celebrate the strength, commitment, and exceptional skill of the women who are an integral part of Arrowsmith Search and Rescue.
Across our team, women contribute in countless essential roles, including:
• Search Managers
• Ground Search Team Leaders
• Rope Rescue & Swiftwater Technicians
• Hoist‑qualified and CDFL‑trained responders
• Drone Pilots
• Support Team Members
• And our dedicated Ground Search and Rescue Members
Women make up 38% of our entire team, bringing leadership, capability, and resilience to every callout and every training night.
We are also proud that 3 of our 8 Board of Directors are women, helping guide, support, and strengthen Arrowsmith SAR through governance, planning, and organizational leadership.
Today we celebrate the remarkable women of Arrowsmith SAR and the many women across the search and rescue community who give their time, their expertise, and their unwavering dedication to helping others. Your courage inspires us all. 💛✨
