🎃👻 Don’t Let Your Halloween Weekend Turn Into a Search and Rescue Mission! 🌲🔦
Halloween weekend is here, and while we’re all for a little spooky fun, getting lost in the dark isn’t the kind of adventure anyone wants! 🦇
Whether you’re heading out for a haunted hike, enjoying a Halloween event, or exploring the outdoors this weekend, a little preparation can keep the scares where they belong—in the costumes! 💀
🧭 Plan Ahead – Know your route and tell someone where you’re going.
🔦 Light Up the Night – Bring a flashlight or headlamp. Darkness comes early this time of year!
🧥 Dress for the Weather – October evenings can be cold, wet, and unpredictable.
👻 Stay Together – Stick with your group and keep an eye on one another.
🚗 Be Visible – Watch for pedestrians, drive carefully, and wear reflective gear when walking after dark.
📱 Be Prepared – Keep your phone charged and remember that cell service isn’t always reliable in the backcountry.
At Arrowsmith Search and Rescue, our volunteers are ready to respond when needed, but we’d much rather see you enjoying your Halloween treats than nee#arrowsmithsar #happyhalloweeny#HalloweenSafety #searchandrescuel#AdventureSmart🎃🌲
