🌧️ Flood Response – January 12 🌧️
On January 12, Arrowsmith Search and Rescue assisted during flooding in the Parksville area as rising water impacted roads and surrounding communities. Our team supported response efforts alongside partner agencies to help ensure public safety while conditions remained hazardous.
As water levels receded and evacuation alerts were later rescinded, we’re grateful for the cooperation between emergency services and for the patience shown by residents during a stressful situation.
Flooding can change quickly—especially during winter storms.
